“I want to eat Kobe beef in Kyoto, but how much should I budget?”—a question we’re often asked. In this article, we organize the menu of KOBE BEEF FACTORY Kyoto Kawaramachi Garden by occasion and budget.
Choosing Kobe Beef by Budget
Because we offer Kobe beef and Kuroge Wagyu in the same cuts, you can choose to match each guest’s preference and budget. Let’s start with a rough guide.
Casual, Between Sightseeing (from the 4,000-yen range)
The Kobe beef yakiniku set starts from 4,620 yen (tax incl.). The yakiniku juu you can enjoy in a short time (from 4,290 yen incl. tax), and the set of meat udon/soba with seared Kobe beef sushi, are perfect between sightseeing stops.
Eat Heartily (around 10,000 yen)
Sirloin or lean steak sets, or the sukiyaki set. The Kuroge Wagyu sirloin set (from 5,280 yen incl. tax) is also an accessible option for a wagyu steak set.
For Anniversaries & Special Days (from 15,000 yen)
Spend a special time with the Kobe beef Chateaubriand set, or the supreme set that lets you enjoy several cuts. For how to choose a cut, see how to choose by cut; for the price gap between Kobe beef and Kuroge Wagyu, see the difference between Kobe beef and Kuroge Wagyu. The full menu is on the Food Menu.
